I'm with you and the normal way female characters get a pass/violence on men and boys is accepted and downplayed, except as @outinthegardener points out its toon logic. He's completely recovered by next page. Its just a exaggerated short hand for a chewing out because he's being insensitve.

Uki favorite character he emulates is one fine having multiple relationships aka polygamist, typical in trash stories where mc is isekaied and just so happens he or she is royalty (somehow works in those worlds, romanticized Genghis Khan I do believe) or faith that allows it is glorified as The Best In The World™ while monogamous religion pictured as worse than Hitler+Stalin+Pol Pot regime.

So, yeah, boy should be on a very short leash.
