Yoshino's mom was exactly what she needed to be, and Yoshino being a mommas-girl is perfect.
This manga isn't reinventing the wheel or anything, but what it does do is pretty good compared to what I find mediocre these days, always with some weird premise/gags that takes the reins of the plot instead of the characters themselves.

It felt kinda random that Kanai's mom had a wrist sprain, like why even include that detail? Then you get to the end and it all makes sense. Pretty funny.

I only hate that both side girls are utterly wonderful heroines in their own right, could easily carry a series by themselves where they win.

Personally I'm all for a omnibus style ending ala Bokuben.. it's the only way this is going to end satisfactorily!
Unless it goes full harem ending of course..
