I hate harem but here it seems like the only way to do this manga any justice. Either that or make the other heroines fall in love with different people. Would be kinda shame but it's alright.

i know people who have this weird hope like this know they will get disappointed but still read it anyways...

I get what you mean, this manga is really weird at times but it's all for the sake of a by the numbers yet subversive punchline.

I can't really think of another romcom that pokes at the genre's tropes like this one does. I'm not sure it it's the right way to say it but it's kinda like an edgy romcom parody.

I still really like it though.

Makeine is quite similar, albeit in portions of the story neither adaptation has reached just yet (Yanami acts exactly like Sakurako toward both the ML and the other girls [except, oddly, Remon] beginning in the fourth light novel, even though she hasn't actually won shit).
