I mean given that literally everything that has happened in this manga has been a trope going the exact opposite of how it usually goes. I am 100% confident that this will be a nothing burger, and we will go to the next gag in a few chapters. Thats just how this manga works. Like literally every single thing that has happened thus far has had the opposite outcome of what the trope usually implies. The fact that anyone thinks this has any meaning other than just taking another trope and dunking on it makes me think people are not seeing this series for what it is. A comedy series that takes your usual tropes, and does a unique spin on them that makes them go another way.
