Strange... I mean bolts are just for holding something in place, right? The machine probably wouldn't just "stop working" from the removal of bolts. It would probably keep running, something would come loose, probably cause a jam and THEN it would stop working.

And if they were pulled out so easily they were probably loose in the first place... so Hina probably did them a favour by drawing their attention to the problem early.

Anyway... this kind of shit couldn't really happen outside Japan. I mean people lie and dissemble all over the world, but nowhere else does it to the extent Japan does... especially not to the point where they would start reading all sorts of wacky shit into random comments a child makes. They could make jumping to conclusions a national sport.
