Every Hitomi chapter is peak fiction

[Sultan_erin]

How can a child be so unlucky as to work several part time jobs, be overworked as hell and then receive combat military training as a reward? RIP Hitomi, she should get spoiled by Nitta sometime

At least she seems pretty rich right now. With how smart she is, she could be on top of the world at a very young age and get a comfy early retirement.

[Jas_ng.]

Yep thats confirmed, she is the best character

[arielsawesome]

how is everyone saying poor hitomi?? u fools, she only grows stronger in every way 😤

Hitomi is working multiple intensive jobs where she's ended up becoming the one others overly rely on while attending school. She thought she'd be able to take a break by devoting two weeks to studying English in America while enjoying the sights NYC has to offer.

Instead, she ended up in a boot camp being yelled at by a guy who she can't even understand. She, as a normal Japanese girl, was also terrified at the thought of being trained to use guns.

She is also a preteen.
