I think author really dont know what to do and where to drive the story... Bcs this manga dropped from my favorite ones (i even translated it for years to my native language) to the garbage ones, and it took literally one trash chapter with this body switch trop out of the blue. Just WHY? HOW DOES IT FIT HERE? IN NO WAY.
And now there is new loli rival out of the blue, who immediately confesses to Hina. OMG what a waste, its just straight out of the textbook "how NOT to write a story"

She's not really a rival. They have no interest in her. She's likely just there to cause gags. Remember that both people have to like each other for a relationship. When Hina actually starts showing romantic affection, you can start worrying.

I think people are overreacting just a tad. Y'all are forgetting that this is mostly a gag manga, with romantic progress as an occasional extra spice. The main point of the chapter was to set up that punchline at the end. With a little bit of wholesome character development for Hino-san as a side benefit. Not gonna say this character will never show up again, but if she does it will be mainly for comedy. So just chill and enjoy the funny.
