Honestly, feels like author doesn't realize that stories can have the mc and love-interest confess, hook-up, kiss, and even hook-up, and still remain an interesting story with plenty of chapters to be told. Common mistake by jp authors, but really annoying every time, particularly when they blue-ball us as strongly (they literally drew her showing her privates in somewhere close to single-digit chapters! (and then retconned it to some picture album, but that part is non-canon hmpf)) and for such a long time.
