Technically they've already been in bed, with the three hour makeout session in the last chapter (131). They just need to go a bit further next time.

People bash Rin being introduced, but she greatly accelerated Hino & Koguma's relationship and it's clear that was the main reason the mangaka added her, with some bonus character development for Omichi. (In particular it showed how caring she is, since the only reason she actually confessed was to encourage Rin to not give up on falling in love with someone again. It also helped her encouraging Koguma to confess to Hino in this chapter.) Omichi's confessing also helped Rin go away, as she had even less of a reason to try again.
