Page 2 & 3---Kogu has to be apprehensive about this encounter. The only information that she has to go on is what Hino told her what would happen, and she has no reason to believe otherwise. Yet, Kogu chose to, in a sense, 'honor the occasion' by wearing the dress that Hino had made for her ( Chap. 18, Page 12 ). That was so sweet and caring of Kogu, even thought she is now on the defensive, with 'whatever' destined to happen in her own bedroom. However, wearing the dress might have been a conscience or unconscious 'oneupmanship' on Kogu's part, to silently address and counter the agreed on action that Hino seems to imply will take place.
