@TanyaTheEvil Careful you mispell Hino twice here and i don't think Hino was ever smoking. Here we clearly see it's a lollipop and the first chapter (which wasn't their first encounter) she was eating chocolate cigarettes not real cigarettes.

@Lilliwyt Sorry about the Spelling, but in chapter 1 panel 6 it appears that Hino is smoking a real cigarette. Also she tricks Kaguma into doing something for her to stop smoking. After chaper 1, I never seen Hino smoking again.
PS. I just read through chapter again and it is a real cigarette. Also Her smoking is one of the reasons I first started reading this manga. But at the end she does say it is a toy cigarette but from the first few panes of the cigarette smoke rising and Hino putting it out is what cuases me to believe that it was real at the beginning

Nah, it was a candy cigarette, she blew on it and a sugary powder came out of it. If it were real cigarette smoke that came out, Kaguma would have held her breathe from the smoke and make a repulsive face, she just had the look of annoyance from the realization that she hadn't been smoking at all, and she was tricked into doing something embarrassing.

There are candy cigarettes that blow out a sweet powder, I had some 15 years ago.

@peppers You could be correct but i believe that it was a real cigarette the first time Kaguma seen Hino and then when Koguma came back with her decision it was a candy cigarette. They look different from before and after and Kaguma is not that ignorant to be fooled from a candy cigarette at the beginning of their meeting. Yes, when Kaguma came back the cigarette looked alot diffrerent but at the beginning it has ash, ect
