Ahhh that's pretty real. <3 It's ok though; you really can learn how to cope. Just remember: you're still new to feeling things like this. Sincere passion for a field, having friends in the same field... you have to exercise it like a muscle.
the trick is: it's okay to feel bad for yourself. But you kind of have to learn how little other peoples success has to do with how good or bad you're doing. Like that, you can look at your friends, and think kindly.

But seriously, what a very College Age Artist kind of feeling chapter. I especially like the awkwardness of not disliking someone, but being quiet when they're Big....
