This guy really gave no thought at all about what’s going to happen to him if some rich girl drops dead when he was the last person to be seen with her alive while she has that blackmail picture on her phone and everyone else can easily say he killed her? Don't worry, it is not his intention to kill her but to humiliate her and make her his slave so that she can no longer touch Shibuya and later to force Shibuya to do what he wants to secure Adachi.
I remind you that all in-game damage disappears once you leave (except the psychological ones) and she will only be traumatised on the terrace with him and can do whatever she wants to her mobile phone, ditto deleting the photos/videos she has taken.
The problem is that sooner or later karma will demand the price to be paid...

Doesn’t really work since the pig isn’t mindbroken and can report an assault. Our heroine might be a doormat, but she still talks to people too, which means he’s in deep trouble from the entire team That are questioning the spontaneous change of leadership.
Even the plan to break her doesn’t plausibly work since he’s failed to even break the heroine despite his best efforts and she’s easy mode compared to his current target. He only made the progress he did because she’s already partially broken inside and if he was actually competent he could have got her to like him without revealing his true personality. He might be manipulative, but he doesn’t actually understand humans enough to succeed. His actual plans with our MC have all failed so hard they loop back into a partial success because she was simply too scared of how unnerving his real personality is. He’s an edgelord that thinks he knows what he’s doing when in reality he got lucky that his victim of choice already had a trauma he doesn’t know about preventing him from causing her to end herself or him.
I dunno how insane the other groups are, but he also has a wildcard of 6 other people that can ruin his plans both In and out of game.

There’s no way for this to actually work with what we know so far and when it does (since it’s too early for him to get his shit truly kicked in) it’s coasting by on sheer luck rather than him being skilled.

Have u ever thought about what happened with the players who lost all their lives? I mean, they just simply disappeared, and there is no investigation, no police at all. Pretty sure that the game, somehow, handled that.

Thinking of just skipping past a lotta this stuff cause it's just torture porn for like, a good 6 chapters. But either way, adachi could have immediately killed herself the moment she knew akiba was going to take contol as well. Just fly really high and deactivate the dress, the pig wouldn't have to feel pain then. Akiba would then have to choose between letting go of his sadism to kill Adachi or wait for the next opportunity to torture her which is a gamble with better odds than letting akiba do what he wants. After milking all the emotional satisfaction of the situation for all she know he can finish it off by killing his tormentor as the final touch.

well i sorta like to upload them the moment they're done, and i sorta view it as like waiting 3 days for 6 chapters isn't nearly as bad as the one week per chapter in japan yk? but i get where you're coming from and i'll certainly consider that if it's dragging on (i literally released 7 chapters at once during the sibling arc cuz that shit took TOOOO LONNGGG)

He can LIE. Her being traumatized would lend credence to anything he makes up and then the hammer of the japanese kangaroo court would pin everything on him. The injuries are just what he did in response to a little girl being assaulted.

While I'm glad to see adachi beaten up cuz she deserved it, doesnt mean that akiba should be somehow strong enuf to beat up a full grown ass adult that is pretty used to pain just cuz he has what? A stick? Even if that stick is made of diamond this story is still so flimsy it feels like shit only happened cuz the story demanded it instead of wether it's feasible in the world's own established setting
