I have a little trouble believing this is a yaoi. Shounen ai, maybe, from what I've seen of the original so far, but definitely not yaoi.
Hell, I'd have trouble believing it's a shounen ai if I didn't scroll through the raws
So I guess what I'm trying to say is... stop freaking out about how barely gay it is when that isn't even relevant yet. Reading or not reading this without commenting on it isn't going to kill you
Anyway, real review time. This is the usual "transmigrated, bringing modern tech" story, except instead of starting from scratch or having magic powers to summon modern things, the protagonist only had a bag of groceries and the knowledge he has. Fortunately, that knowledge mostly pertains to making bread, as he used to work at a bakery. That gives him a reason to know what he does without waving it off as "he's just really good at cooking, and no one has ever had it before." Only starting off with a bag of groceries also allows him to interact with the world, as he has to go out and purchase supplies and replace what he needs with whatever exists at the time, while still having a starting point for his modern and new cooking. I do worry about how much yeast he has though...
So overall, it is a good read for people who want isekai that don't involve all powerful protagonists just steamrolling a world that could be replaced with any other. Although, if you read a lot of other manhua set in ancient China, that won't be as interesting. I can only really comment on the settings so far, since nothing has really happened to the characters yet. Which may be a problem, but it picks up pace later
