I love how Hayakawa is being drawn; the difference his eyes make when he's being his honest self, as opposed towhen he puts on a mask, is quite staggering. Especially that last scene; when he confesses, he looks fo.. alive, so emotive and his eyes have depth, are reflecting things. But then, as soon as he thinkgs he's gonna get rejected and called disgusting, he backs away and slinks right back under his trusty mask, his eyes loose all depth and he instantly puts on that fake smile. Poor thing. That such an honest, talented person got so twisted.
And I think Kon-chan saw right through that mask. I mean, obviously, that's how it all started, right? Him seeing through Hayakawa.
