How did you feel about Slime Isekai basically being non-gendered?

Slime is fine, I think because the rest of the world building was so immense and detailed it really was a non-issue. Thats i think the problem, is the fact that this author IS making it a part of the plot. If he wouldve said: "oh im a girl now," shrugged shoulders and got on with it, it would be way better. Kind of like that trash reincarnation one where the Magic swordsman emporer reincarnates as a hot chick who acts as the squire to another character (forgot its name). The actual show was trash to me, but the gender swap didnt matter too much because it was a non issue, it was like mentioned in one sentence at the start and never mentioned again. It was as if she'd straight away fully intergrated into being a girl. Was a trash show though.

Or it’s just a gimmick to justify that the main girl doesn’t have any interest in romance, like girly girls in a manga are supposed to (cf. Onimai where the protag magically starts liking yaoi just by having a girl’s body). That’s how it’s done in Reborn to master the sword.

Well villainess characters are often very sexy, feminine bodies while heroines usually black hair standardised heroine look, where they are pretty, but not really sexy

I don't think they'll be killed probably a lead on to the kidnappings currently going on. MC certainly noticed she was robbed. Given her assassination status last life, I think she intentionally let herself be vulnerable

The art is indeed good, but the author would have really benefitted from having someone else write the story. The story here is not only quite janky, but it's painfully plain and not really captivating.
