Worse thing isn't that he dies in the first battle... he had ALL the death flags set up prior to this and we weren't able to notice until after the fact.

Glad to get a reminder of what war is with that last line. Because so far this has been portraying the orcs and their efficient military in an extremely positive light. I was worrying this might end up being one of those "the good guys are fighting a just war with no moral qualms to address" stories.

I mean even when you're the "good guys", like WWI France, you still had millions of soldiers dead, the land scoured, etc. Esp in a low/practical fantasy setting like this, industrialization can only do so much against a peer nation of spell casters.

Three days discharged from hospital for this incident. He joined the future war before his term was over, nothing said he joined the war just three days before he was free.

Also, where is everyone getting the died in first battle from? It just stated that he joined the war and died in battle.

Well, the raws we are using are likely from Comic Nova's own releases, so it's possible they split up the chapter in two parts. Either way, that's later us to worry about. Gonna work on getting the prior 4 chapters plus the next part of this chapter done within a month (wish me luck, lol)

No worries either way, we've had numbering issues with series before because of the varied differences in raw releases (either digital or physical), so it's not unusual for us.
