She has no magic innately or from injury?

Because the translation says "you now have no magic" and "i have no magic left" implies in an earlier she did. Which we saw when she slice people with her hands like Kabuto.

Which then the question is why is it called life draining sword if all it does is drain your mana and once its empty there's no further down side?

Then obviously it's a weapon you draw once you spent all your mana and can use it to drain those still have theirs.

Something tell me that magic is not the only thing that will be drained this day. :meguusmug:

The bedsheets are going to feel it once they go to princess castle and have a good, long rest...

God the subtext to Shurine's bodyguard talk is just so romantic! I have no idea how Lutecia didn't swoon there and then! Hopefully the kingdom allows for gay marriage so Shurine can take her rightful place as Queen consort when Lutecia takes the throne. If not I'm sure Lutecia will pass some sweeping (off her feet) legislation .

Well this characterization from Claude makes me rescind what I'd said previous chapter. If that's how they are, then I don't see any reason for Shirune to give quarter in this duel.

"pragmatism" is one thing, but that dialogue from Claude doesn't strike me as coming from one who has any sort of moral stance that extends from anything like honor or duty. So....yeah. Hope Claude gets the business end of Shirune's new blade.

Thanks for the TL as always.
