The "spiciest" moment in their relationship was that ONE time they kissed, besides that, just a LOT of handholding and you think they will "jump" into having sex just like that?.
The chance for them to do something sexual is zero. The chance for the author to be pulling a simple bait cliffhanger is 100%.
"best" case scenario they'll just end up kissing again after 9-10 pages of them being awkward.

For the record, didn't they take a bath together at nana's place? Surely that gotta count as more "spicy" than kissing and hand holding?

My prediction is that it's gonna mostly play it straight and vague, then in a few chapters the gang (or just Sister+American) is gonna try and wingman them for development then spy on them cup to the wall style, and be surprised to find out they already went further than they could imagine
