I hate meddlesome characters, if you want to observe, then observe. Dont interject yourself into someone elses love life or life. Uzaki chan did it better with the supporting cast.
Here, the blonde and sister are there to actually PROLONG the indecision because Hitomi and Usa are actually fairly proactive.

This is my biggest gripe with the manga and this trope.

Id prefer it if the author completely removed them. The characters serve no purpose other than to make the story worse or piss off the readers. They arent antagonists but just there to introduce filler.
