He's far far worse in the novel. Whenever someone tells him their real name he just goes "What did they just say their name was? Nope, didn't hear that, your name is mr.doodlepants"

If an armed person is asking you about someone's condition and if they were humiliated, no one would respond they wriggling and fainted but I think they enjoyed it. in trashero it makes sense, mc doesnt see anything important and like a game, only relevant characters gets "lettered" and he ignores the rest. and tbf only name he remembers of "npc" comes back to bite his ass
