probably the most unfortunate part of them removing any and all adult content from this version is that it makes it look like nobody is really trying to tie his ass down, but what you said has already been going on for a long time in the LN version & he always manages to break free eventually. pretty much all they haven't tried by now is dunking him up to his neck in fast-drying cement & covering his new tomb in sealing magic like he's some sort of cursed relic, & they won't go that drastic because they can't bring themselves to do something so ungrateful-seeming, even to save his life (& less nobly, they rely on him to make them new clothes and food and whatnot 24/7 & they don't want their endless supply of literally-the-best-stuff-in-this-world to dry up lol )

trust them to (not) do what? the manga version is like 100x less scatterbrained and easier to read than the LN imo, even if the sheer amount of cut (adult) content by this point is pretty comical in its own right. if the story suddenly getting horny is your concern, nah, they've removed so much it seems pretty concrete to me that they're keeping this version pretty strictly pg-13 & suddenly swapping back to the tone of the original novels (or anything close to it) would basically shatter most of the current character dynamics, lol. (seriously though, we wouldn't even be half as far into the overall story if they'd kept even half the amount of page space originally dedicated to haruka's neverending lust lmao)
if your concern is about it suddenly getting even stupider... you've made it this far, haven't you? and if you're worried about things getting dull... well, if you made it past that last long-ass arc without wanting to quit you may as well hang on for the ride imo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
