Actually whatever happened to Squiggles? I think they had a break, since a lot of stuff I read from them wasn't updated, but then like 70% of manga they did never got another chapter

Thank you so much to everyone who welcomed us and showed support for picking this series back up! It means a lot to see people excited for it.

Also, just to clear the air on a few comments: no AI was used here at all. Everything was done entirely by hand, which is exactly why the typesetting is still a bit rough around the edges—we are still completely new to this and learning the ropes!

Something I learned from my own first attempts was that continuity and word flow was the most important thing to aim for: font continuity, size continuity, structure continuity, spacing continuity. It should "flow" basically, not make the reader have to "jump" and adapt to it. Beyond that you got the core meanings and text translated well, and there weren't many issues with the lack of subject causing nebulous translating. Just a typesetting issue overall, one you can easy address with time.

Edit: I will say, revisit page 8 and correct the bottom panel. That's one of the more glaring things people are likely to point out. MD let's you upload replacement pages.
I actually used this MD-based resource to get the "rules" of typesetting down. Might be handy.

The affair itself is the least surprising part about this story. From what little we’ve seen, the husband has been neglectful of his wife‘s sexual and emotional needs since their daughter was born, and has been physically absent for months. It’s a universal truth that if you don’t satisfy your partner, they’ll go somewhere else, however Mizuki has been a housewife for most of her adult life, so she is financially dependant on her husband, not to mention she feels obligated to maintain this relationship for her daughter‘s sake and this leaves her effectively trapped in an unfulfilling marriage.

The husband isn’t a sympathetic figure either if he needs his own daughter to remind him to thank his wife for the extra trouble she goes through to deliver him home-cooked meals. That‘s why I lean towards siding with Mizuki, because we actually have evidence of her doing things for her husband of her own initiative even when they’re apart, but what has the husband done for her personally?

Well, her husband is supporting her financially, right? So this is the part he does for Mizuki. He provides for her so that she can have a life free of anxiety about money. Also can you really blame a person for being absent because of work?.. I honestly don’t know. That is not to say that I side with Mizuki’s husband. But I think everyone has their circumstances, and when one realises that their partner’s circumstances are not something that fulfils them, it’s time to consider splitting up.

When it comes to your partner, it creates a significant power imbalance that can lead to all sorts of problems. I’d feel less anxious about that situation if he found other ways to show that he cares, even little things that don’t take too much time, effort or money. In that case, is it really any different if all he is doing is paying a maid to look after his house, raise his child and cook meals for him?

Fair point, I agree. However, apparently he does call Hazuki from time to time indicating that he’s not entirely indifferent to his daughter. And regarding the power imbalance, yeah absolutely, but Mizuki has agreed to it. I think when you decide to become a housewife, you kinda have to accept the fact that your agency in the marriage is reduced because you are financially dependent. This is why I’d say it can never be a good deal to enter such a relationship/marriage as a woman (as a man probably too) to begin with. Because it’s just transactional as you pointed out.

The whole point of the manga is that Mizuki is a married woman fucking her daughter's classmate (Hinata). So yes, she's still married. Hence why the daughter thinks her mom is cheating (on her father) with Mao (Mizuki's school days crush)

Idk why I thought it had nothing to with cheating and was only about how scandalous it is for a mom to be screwing her daughter's crush. My memory is bad

I admit I'm surprised you're shocked over what is the literal premise of the series itself.
