So our protagonists are the same person, but they each come from a parallel world of the other. They were supposed to kill the other for some unspecified reason. This still hasn't been explained. They also can fuse into one, super powered person. How or why hasn't been explained yet either.

The Nurse is some sort of hitman/cultist, I don't remember well, I think she's a part of the cult that makes people explode by praying to their god. This has some sort of connection to the mentor of the main character(s). For reasons I don't remember, she wants the main character(s) dead.

The story mostly is just the main character(s) being targeted by all sorts of hitmen, either because the hitman in question has taken a weird liking to them (like the kamen rider knock off), or because they were hired in particular (the Nurse).

What any of this has to do with each other, no one knows, and there's a good chance the author/artist is making shit up as they go along, and has no real over arching plan, nor idea for what they are going to do with half the things they have introduced.
