Likely canceled. It was okay but not interesting enough for major audience.
Not really for boys, boys aren't really in braiding hair and not really for girls (girls mangas have different male leads).
It's okay for older folk but older folk read books and novels more for that kind of content.

Also it was somewhat realistic and natural which is counter to the usual fake ass artificial drama fueled shit. So most readers aren't as engaged in the content. Also author dropped a few truth bombs to the readers through side characters which might have pissed off usual rom-com (harems) fans (fecal matter eaters (i was the same but through experience i became fecal matter sommeliers)).

This really seems like it was cancelled and got a rushed ending that isn't even a proper ending. Really sad as I liked it quite a lot. The main pair connecting over him braiding her hair makes this stand out among all the other RomComs with their identical or extremely similar premises. The calm and realistic nature of the story was what hooked me, as I prefer stuff like that. I would've genuinely given this a 10/10 rating if not for the rushed and not really finished ending. The funny thing is, it doesn't even feel like it would've needed many more chapters to get a proper ending. Maybe like 5-10 more at best.

Honestly most of the mangas like this are always seems cancelled... And one of the most important thing about stories or life is that it has an ending. When it ends while you still feel like it should of continued, it feels really bad. Just a proper wrap up chapter can change your point of view of the story, your feelings and everything but most of the time we dont get something like that.
