This really didn't feel like a final chapter, more like a normal chapter that had 2 extra pages to say "hi, it's over". Still love the series but it's a little bit of a rough landing.
It kind of annoys me that even in this climatic final chapter we couldn't focus on our main 2 alone. But not the end of the world, I guess.
I agee that this chapter didn't produce the kind of delight you'd want from your main couple finally getting together because the air got sucked out of things at the end.
It felt like they didn't want to write an actual couple in a relationship, but our main two long ago reached a point where they should have been dating.
As a result, we got a lot of interruptions and Asako shenanigans to slow the pacing down. Now we get the "they get together at the last chapter," that Author seemed to want. Really messed with the quality of the later chapters for me.
Yeah I feel like the first 20 ~ 25 chapters were peak, most of the side characters were nice as well but Asaka was used so wrong, she's not bad, she's just too forced even at the end, they couldn't even enjoy their important confession in peace.
Is difficult I would love to recommend this to anyone, it made me very happy a lot of times but maybe not the last volume.
the fate of 80% of good yuri is to get axed. the manga industry is cutthroat and btw i hate capitalism and bla bla fuck all life. i just wanted to see them kissing and have one god damn chapter of domestic fluff without everyone else getting in the way. the confession was even in front of everyone!! i wouldnt have minded if there was more afterwards but god damnnnn im so salty about this one. the first half or so was so strong and just.. ughhh
