The only thing he's trying to do is be an annoying 3rd wheel that shouldn't be there. Literally none of these people have known each other for very long aside from fmc and her 2 friends and have barely had the time to chat and he's here just trying to force his way into somewhere he clearly isn't wanted. With how he's behaving I would bet large amounts of money on him being the type of person to propose to a woman at her wedding.
