I feel a bit conflicted about Fushimi only making a move when he's literally having a fever dream.

So the delirious fever trope is extremely common in manga, particularly shoujo romance. It's usually depicted as the sick person basically being drunk; they have lapses in memory, say/do things abnormally honest, and act out by making a move on the other lead who inevitably is taking care of them for some contrived reason (bonus points if they got the fever after being exposed to the rain for two minutes).

Am I the only person who has never experienced a fever like this? The characters don't usually have some crazy serious you-need-to-be-hospitalized-right-now fever, it's just a cold, and yet they act like they're sloshed.

When my family tries to interact with me when I’m half asleep usually I remember it but I sometimes wonder if it was a dream too. I don’t think it has much to do with the fever and more to do with being very tired/sleepy. I wouldn’t kiss someone though because I’d be too tired LOL

The mix between the fever, dizziness, and medicine side effect sometimes made you between awake or not. But it's been a long time since i was sick like that, so I don't know if it will make me blabber nonsense and make a move like that. And the most important I naver have my friend visit me while I'm sick of course lover neither
