Trashy isn't the word for hajimete no gal, people who tend to be a fan of a certain genre can be broken down into categories, and based on the comments on those who are gyaru series they don't like traps.

The reason i call it trashy, its because it completely changed the theme midway... its like the author wanted to do some sort of romcom with a gyaru, but then figured out he could probably make more money if he added other girls (and trap), to the plot... and for it to continue for longer he dumbed down the MC even more than what was needed.

About your other recommendations, i didnt suggest the school fake couple one, because its going with too much drama, and not everyone is a fan of that.
2 of the others i didnt knew them myself, one of them wasnt updated long enough for me to forget its existence, and no matter how much i love nagatoro (10/10 manga) she's not exactly a gyaru...

On the one-shots... i just dont know the first one. The others are neat and lets wait and see.
