She couldn't have continuously asked him if he were alright with the situation. The only way she could've picked up he was uncomfortable with the situation would be to read his body language/mind. I guess I shouldn't blame her too much for not picking up that he was uncomfortable.

TBF I've reread my two posts, and I can't find where I mentioned she was crossing a line. I still think she's taking advantage of his passiveness and unwillingness to go against the flow, no matter how uncomfortable it could make him. But then perhaps it's fairer to put this on him for not conveying his feelings properly.

This is the most back and forth discussion I've seen in this series yet! I think I'm the first to mention this, but, what might have happened if Tsubasa didn't have a 'sexy dream' the night before? Would he have responded differently? I'm wondering if Mom is giving Fuyuki off-panel advice on how to lure in Tsubasa, or if she came up with this scenario on her own. I hope Tsubasa doesn't get sick, since he presumably ran right outside after throwing sweaty clothes back on over his wet body.

This might be strange to say, but I feel like there should have been another chapter between this and 22; maybe even a half chapter with more dialogue between the three friends after they'd caught all those fish.

@musicfreak12 no it's not really limited to that. For instance, you can have a relationship that is based around how well that person gives you emotional support, they could be a confidant, and that could be different from your 'best friend' or 'good friend' cause they could all either be bad at helping emotionally or people who can't keep secrets. Essentially a lot of types of relationships have all been lost to 'best friend' because we got lazy at defining relationships because society lost some of it's rigidity in it's social structure.

Also an example more directly related to this though between best friend and crush, sometimes people who are pretty reliant on physical contact have that one friend that they're really physically close with and always touching on. Though that's usually more commonly seen with women than men, because men are 'trained' by society to think that's wrong.
