I shelled out like 70USD to get volumes 1 to 6 on Kobo / Rakuten. The plot gets kinda wild, but damn are the characters dynamic and fun. You can probably speed-read all the chapters with a $10 subscription for a single month instead. I do recommend this manga.

I don't think I've ever read a synopsis that throws up that many questions, so... in.

a decent manga. i feel like the slice of life plots aren't anywhere near as engaging as the mystery around kei's brother. it's very cool that the manga takes place in iceland, and the art is clearly enthusiastic about that lonely rugged landscape, but the facts about iceland and its people are kinda generic. sometimes it reads like a touring agency ad. i like the food shots though.

if you can get over the main character being so much of a looker that the manga needs characters to comment on it every few pages ("omg tall mixed japanese with BLUE eyes!!"), it's pretty good. i like the art style, and the mysterious brother takes center stage about halfway through if you're more invested in that.

also i wonder why so many manga have characters who obsess over only eating meat. sounds kinda gross. i bet his poop smells like death
