@starlightcitypro despite the story and the characters all shit, author actually pretty good at making strong will FMC in this story. Not gonna lie, what make me still reading this piece of shit story was Azu, how much she struggle to solve this problem, even tho she almost choose the wrong path as her braindead husband, but she can make a comeback from that..

I don't want to be mean or anything but rina doesn't deserve to be happy or simply doesn't deserve to turn her life around that "easy"...now she says she missed her kids when for the longest time she only cared about her own damn happiness and willing to leave her kids for a man at one point...yeah everybody deserves a second chance but this b*tch didn't even apologize properly to anzu and now she achieve a happy ever after with her kids?... no way...too easy...

yeah unfortunately this wrapped up pretty quick. Wouldn't call it axed or even a rush job, but after translating this chapter I got rubbed the wrong way at how easily Wataru gave up. Like damn for all the lip service he's thrown this series he sure was just like "Oh well, fuck her" and then moved on lol. Though, moving on is what he fucking needed.

But I agree with below, Rina really is lucky she came out with anything at the end. Like she literally through away her kids, forcefully tried to split a married couple with constant bait (doesn't help that they both fell for it but whatevs) and overall was such a manipulative and shitty person throughout.

Rina's having her "happy ending" that easy was not satisfying at all, only Azu and her daughter deserves a happy ending. I'm actually not quite happy with her taking back her scum of a husband. Remembering his reaction after seeing the pictures of Azu and the other dude on the blog, he rejected her first explanation and apology like wtf when he was caught cheating he immediately ask for forgiveness swearing he won't do the same thing again and expects Azu to take him back 🤦♀️

Their story reminded me of someone my mom worked with. Their daughter got cancer, so her husband like immediately cheated while she was on her death bed. Then she died, and my mom's coworker just wanted to be able to be a part of their grandkids life, but scumbag husband was like "they're young enough that they'll forget their mom, I'm just gonna tell them my new gf is their mom" (they were like, 2 and 3 I think). He got rid of all her pictures, cut contact with her family, and moved.
Coworker tried to do what they could legally but unfortunately grandparents do not have much rights when one legal parent is still around. I don't know if they ever got visitation rights or not. There's a special place in hell for this man and I hope his kids will remember their mother and resent him for the rest of his miserable life.

( But if possible, I do not wish the kids grow up with resentment... Growing up resenting your parent usually doesn't equal a happy life while growing up (abuse, neglect, narcissist parent, etc), and might damage them mentally so hard even into their adult life, so I really wish they won't have to live that kind of life. That dude is daaamn awful, but I hope he doesn't get even more toxic and get better, because the kids deserve a good life. I mean if I were the late wife, sure as hell I want that dude to get the karma for shitting on my family, but if it comes at the price of my kids' happiness, I'd rather they have a good life together

@gomichandesu I got a friend who works in the social services system where I live, and those types of stories aren't uncommon sadly.
Rina's case seems common type of domestic case in Japan. The father's side of the family is always favored in domestic cases even if the mother and her family is able, but I'm talking from fringed google research.

Junpei is the worst one in here. Worse than Rina.
At least Rina has the excuse of her poor mental health and abusive relationship. And now will have to fight to survive as a single mother. Junpei is the one who almost got away scot free with a loving family and a better, more convenient job, after having ruined the lives of everyone around him.
And yeah, don't tell me that it would have been fine because he regretted it. The retard has been lying to the last moment with the stupidly keeping contact with Rina. He had the gall to get angry at Azu for some alleged revenge sex she had every right to return sevenfold. When you are the biggest asshole in a story with two literal sociopaths, that's not great.
And you know who ended up having to mop up his mess? Not him, that's for sure. Hell, I'm glad Rina exposed him. Deserves worse than that.
