Honey and Clover is a totally amazing manga (and anime. Dunno about the live stuff--I can see a TV series working although casting might be tough, but I can't see a movie doing it justice, too short.)
But, yeah, work of genius whose fame is totally justified. Very bittersweet. Stuff doesn't work out perfectly, the way life doesn't, even though most of the people are pretty awesome in their different ways.

This manga proved to me that I shouldn’t have been so prejudiced of shoujo manga all this time. Loved this one a lot.

This was one of those manga I never got around to reading for the longest time like 10 years bruh and to finally read it I thought it was okay not a huge fan of how the romance turned out but I chalk that up to it just not being for me and I appreciate the lesson the manga is trying to teach. I think its a lovely lesson but I also think they could have like built up to it better cause it didn feel like it was gonna go the direction it did at least to me but oh well. Now some parts really annoyed me and felt dragged out or just kinda came outta no where and then went no where and that was annoying. Overall it was an okay manga I wouldn't reccomend it if you are looking for a heartfelt romance but moreso if you are in the mood for a manga about other aspects of love. Its just not what I wanted and I wish I knew it was gonna be like this so I didn't feel like I wasted my time almost. Been a while since I felt like this about I manga. I don't hate it maybe if I knew and went in with an idea of what it was really about I would have liked it better. Solid but I don't really care for it.

Basically everyone got rejected and or there love went no where and the manga is about how love can take you places and I guess help you realize stuff about yourself? Idk I like the lesson but also don't care for it much.
