Ria is a sexually abusive blackmailing manipulative jezebel, deliberate homewrecker willing to destroy every one of her friends' relationships both with herself and with each other. She's duplicitous and subversive, never facing either Suzuka or MC head on.
Suzuka is equally an emotionally distant and spineless flake, just like MC. They're a match made in heaven perfect for eternally cheating on each other. Neither partner is willing to make a move on the other despite wanting to, both because of their lingering feelings about Ria (MC still likes her, Suzuka still worries about committing because she's there).
Every character in this story absolutely deserves the emotional consequences of their stupid actions, and they're perfect for each other. The deserve the hardship they inflict upon each other, and that's for the best because they're emotional parasites who will suck the soul out of anyone involved. Best to keep that parasitism between each other for the betterment of the rest of society.
