If you actually look at the process there actually not that much skilled labour required. everything described could be done with a lot of effort but little skill I mean think about it what's the most skilled labour in the whole process? this could be done fairly cheeply with a group of labourers. two people doing a labour intensive job doesn't make it more valuable two men men crushing a large rock with hammers doesn't make the resulting crushed rock more valuable than a machine crushed rock of like quality.
