Its interesting that some phrases used in the novel come from the fact that she wanted to keep it kid friendly, because she wanted her own kids to be able to read it.
I don't remember the vol but it was from one of the author parts at the end of one of the novels.
That’d be interesting considering “giving flowers“ literally means prostitution. I’m sure kids reading that would have an interesting interpretation

IIRC, another euphemism that was used with that other character was "distanced". Which meant... what? That he'd been fired? Just ordered to be elsewhere when dealing with Myne? It also took a while for the shoe to drop.
I assumed he was reassigned to a blue robed priest

Also I believe her hiring soldiers is only for escorting the greys (from the monastery) back, since there's no blue priest living there.
sorry i got to this so slowly! this has now been corrected from blue to gray, thankies <3

Honestly I think it's fine to leave it as it originally was, after all the noble euphemisms ARE meant to be foreign so that even Myne herself is confused about their meanings at times.
Saying it that way, I agree with you. I thought it would be a localization kind of task for a line like that, but keeping it opaque like that keeps it confusing for someone on the outside in a participatory way i feel. next time something like this comes up, i'll do my best to look deeper into the intent of a confusing line. thanks for the input!!

Translator-san Is doing god's work

My main language Is spanish, so "the errors" or "misspelled parts" are my everyday life. For me is interesting having to do my own dialogues in spanish from the translation and the things I already know about the story/characters.

Your work is very appreciated. I don't have the time to read a light novel lately so I only get to enjoy this series through manga.

Its good stuff, even if not perfectly translated (which would be very fucking hard to do too, given the dialogues this series has), it brings me a lot of joy to see a new chapter every few days. So thank you!

"Can a silver cup really be that heavy!?"

Having read MUCH further into the series, going back and seeing these epic foreshadowing moments come out of nowhere is fantastic!
Excuse me, can you explain the silver cup being heavy? I've read all the LN's and I have no memory of this.

I don't think it's a reference to
the silver cloth from Lanzenave made from manaless material
I think it's just that Rozemyne is still super weak and picking up a chunk of metal, even silver is too much for her.

I think it was actually referring to
when Rozemyne was using the divine instruments to rapidly drain her mana and she could barely hold up the Goblet of Geduldh

Praise be to Aub Alexandria! The Avatar of Mestionora! Favored of the gods!!!
