Do you guys think lessy scans should continue translating this series or not? Idk, maybe you guys prefer fast upload rather than carefully translated fan translation
Yes, I enjoy reading your translations.
I also think that guy will stop translating if you stop anyways since no one was translating it for over a year before you and then he suddenly decides to start shortly after you pick it up.

@irumichwaan You should definitely continue. The other scan being uploaded right now is low effort AI slop and a lot of readers (like me) already blocked the uploader.

So happy to read a translation with care and effort put into the final product 
I might have come off as overly harsh of my criticism of the other TL, but I really don't want to see quality sacrificed for speed, and especially not with ego driving it. This wonderful story deserves a certain, consistent level of care and it's not like it's a weekly with a building backlog. Lessy's been doing a fine job meeting that goal and I'd far prefer it keep doing so (but please, take care not to run afoul of any other site rules).
I really liked the character artwork in this chapter. Makes things feel grounded and amplifies the funny

Off the top of my head - Rozmyne has magic contracts with Benno and Lutz for her inventions.
The one with Lutz also ensures that Lutz will always have an interest in the creation of her inventions and that means they will always be connected. Which is important because Lutz keeps her grounded and connected to the lower city and is a conduit to her family.

Why not both?
It's night and day when a 'TL' like that gets uploaded; I'm kinder on AI use than most, so long as it hits a readable baseline, but that sort of thing should always be reserved for something with zero active interest and the fact you're so clearly going to reach the point they're sniping before the end of the year with current pace betrays bad intent from the other party.
As is I went in, went 'oh, this font... this grammar... these obvious errors in wording...' and immediately knew it wasn't you.
I can't entirely hate the work, since at the very least it's not just unedited output from the first free scanlation model they plopped raws in, but it's misplaced and you can guarantee their half-assed interest won't last.
TL;DR free TLs have always been not-so-secretly paid for in Ego, as no one wants to do something like this without at least half a dozen folks fellating them for their generous work; there's nothing wrong with that and it's mildly messed up someone's 'robbing' you of a share, just know you don't have to engage with 'em and you've built up more than enough goodwill that we'd be sad to see you go. Since these are getting an official TL too you won't ever keep the 'status' of being the definitive way to read like some other scanlations do though... so ultimately, just do what makes sense for your situation.

Please continue your TL! I would rather wait for your scans than read quick scans that are AI assisted AND low quality. And your pace of TL is very reasonable anyways.
I don't approve of snipers when the current group already produces a good product on a regular basis.

Like everyone else has already said, I personally prefer to have a quality TL over a quick one that requires multiple fixes/corrections. You do great work and are greatly appreciated ♥

I would very much appreciate it if you would continue your fan translations. They have been of great quality, consistency, and timely. It has been nice to get multiple Ascendance of a Bookworm updates across Part 3, At Ferdinand's Mansion, Part 4, and Hannelore’s Fifth Year from you and your group.
I read the recently submitted chapter 52 and while it is at the very least certainly understandable to read given that I have experienced the story already it is disappointing in how it was created and lacks the care and effort that even someone busting out an image editor and using the most rudimentary white-out technique and the choice of a single font would have felt more professional to have been submitted. I see that person's point in that there are chapters that have been left untranslated for like half a year being their motivation but you were clearly on your way to getting there. Don't be discouraged. Please press on. Bookworm has had many overlapping chapter submissions already so it isn't something we aren't already used to at this point. I think we can agree that we would prefer that you translate any chapters that this person will or has already submitted.

Yes, do continue, yours is the superior translation. If I had to chose, always chose quality. Though I must say, I don't see why one must chose, considering that at least for now you are translating different points of the story, the other translator appears to be going to the most recent released raws. Having multiple teams translating is not a new thing, or a big deal, for me at least.
When you do overlap, I still say continue please, for again your translation is better.
