Hey. We trained for…a day. I’m sure we’re a match for the most terrifying, battle hardened duchy in the world. A duchy who love this game so much that they literally kill each other while playing it and then keep coming back.

yeah. We can probably beat them

Thanks for the translation. I always pictured the exhausted knights as lying down on a japanese channelized river bank after a long-distance run, having them inside a large building for knight training feels so odd to me.
Also, I think it's better for Rudolph to be listed as Charlotte's knight or retainer, but not attendant. Knights and attendants are both types of retainers that Charlotte (and other ADCs have)

I was laughing through this whole chapter. You can really feel the artist's strength at bringing through comedy here :lul:

Leonore has that thin evil smile down pat. Poor Cornelius, and poor Judithe :worry:

The lesson this time only made her slump down into a soft carpet.
Compared to before (when Rozemyne got pulled by Willfred and fell into a bloody mess), this lesson is full of kindness.

Also, this is the first time I see what the training hall in the academy looks like.
Even at the end of LN, there was never any reason for Rozemyne to visit academy knight classrooms & training halls

I always liked this moment for Rauffen. He's every bit the ditter maniac like the rest of Dunklefelger, but here he uses his brain too. When Judithe mentions Ehrenfest would gain more from losing than winning, Rauffen gets it immediately and sees how it would help the Dunk students too.

It's also a neat example of how Rauffen navigates being both Dunkelfelger's dorm monitor, but also in charge of making all the apprentice knights stronger. A worse teacher would prioritize one duty over the other (Hirschur, or Fraularm come to mind).

It’s honestly hilarious when you realize that he must be one of the most rational and level-headEd of all the knights in dunkelfger or he wouldn’t have been picked for the role. He’s the chill one!
