Oh poor Lady Primvere, Myne is most certainly not ready to attend any tea parties at the royal academy, like she is the least prepared of anyone.
Now now, her etiquette is exquisite. It was even said by her guardians that when it comes to political meetings and tea parties, she is overwhelmingly competent... until she is not :D
Myne s etiquette is exemplary and she’d be fine in any normal conversation with royalty…primvere just isn’t expecting a royal to already have beef with her since she’s only been at the school for 5 freaking minutes

the manga doesn't show it but this conversation addresses 3 different problems with ppl of different knowledge levels. for your point (which is 1 of the different problems) the reason he isn't worried about the long walk is because RM has been moving fine throughout the royal academy (with the help of the muscle enhancement magic tools) still slow yes but that's most due to her small stature not her poor muscles and noone knows how that would interact with the devine will (even if it's obvious what would happen). so the long walk wasn't a consideration. Next is Cornelius's interpretation and a connected problem. 1st years are mainly the first time that kids are apart from their homes. homesickness results in a higher ammount of stress and that results in many 1st years having a nightmare of not being able to find their own devine will and since Cornelius doesn't know RM has the memories of an adult he just sees it as his little sister being scared of that common problem. Lastly is RMs interpretation Rm is in a very unique scenario where she's a commoner and because she's a commoner she doesn't know if she'll get a good enough shtappe and that is what is actually her worry (which obv she can't say so this is the roundabout way of asking and it carrying the wrong interpretations).
Interesting.
I did forget she was using the enhancers right now and that that was her main problem in this trial, not the overall distance she had to cover. Still, it would’ve been a decently long walk for him as am archnoble so he should’ve given it a bit more thought. I’m sure he, more than any of her retainers, asked Ferdinand for advice on keeping her safe and healthy

I'm gessing dhe's going to end up marrying the emperor of the continent or whatever the position is just for his library, and the guy will marry her only for her position as saintess, but somehow they will like each other (probably he'll be really interested in books too).
That wouldn’t be the worst relationship in the world. Dont forget that myne was trained by merchants so she could definitely hammer out a pretty decent contract giving herself plenty of perks. 8 hours of reading time per day. Sick and vacation days. A new library every year for her birthday etc

Plenty of people had to go that far, including one still in the RA. Very few had to do it in as ill a health as Rozemyne.
At this point in the story, Eglantine is neither royalty or faculty, and I don't think there are any other confirmed omnielemental nobles

She acts so mature and competent that nobody can predict the next insane thing she'll do or say.

From her point of view and in her paraphrased words: "I merely blink and there's a storm around me."
She knows the how but not the why. Ferdinand literally taught her for the test, thinking it'd be good enough to just fake it while in public 'cause he's a socially caustic weirdo himself.

So now they have keber crystal wands, sure why not.
Kiiiiiiinda. It's less 'the wand chooses the wizard' and more 'this cave generates a magic implement that EXACTLY matches your personal ability at this exact moment in time, better hope you're not a shitter'.

Irrelevant. My point is, many students had to walk just as far, and none of them had problems. Because they were healthy.

And, except for one, older, come to think...

practically noone knows exactly how far you are going (except for those in front of you)and it's not discussed where you got your will that kind of info is always very personal and not appropriate to ask. and while it's never confirmed i can bet that the cave itself won't let you pass too far ahead of where your Devine will is.

no he didn't otherwise she wouldn't be confused about what and how the course would work because of a multitude of reasons.
1st reason Ferdinand incorrectly assumes that Myne was a noble in her past life so he wouldn't cover the basics of etiquette.
2nd this practical won't be standard for every even in this chapter you see that it's different from person to person so he can't teach what is an absolute 100% variable.
3rd as you mentioned Ferdinand is practically socially inept so even if he tryed he wouldn't get that far and finally the most important one why it's a problem and will continue to be a problem
4th social etiquette is very different between lords and ladys as such it is on the woman in her life to educate Myne. here's the problem though Myne thought that her "ladys education" ended by the time she was baptized (due to not being a noble and didn't know what was common), Elvira was in the camp of thinking Florencia would do it (because that's how adoptions work) and Florencia just didn't do it for which there are plenty of speculations but no direct proof (some think it was intentional on her part so that RM would have a flaw compared to her children so that she isn't truly perfect, others think it was a misunderstanding between Elvira and Florencia that resulted in her thinking Elvira would do it, others still place the blame on Sylvesters loose tongue truly we will never know)
TLDR Ferdinand could in no way prepare her for this class. the most he could do is go over the very most standard tricks that they would pull but those wouldn't be much help and would be so generic that just saying "act the way you were thought" would be enough in his logical mind.

Ferdinand thought her the Theoretical Courses not the practical ones because the ones that he could teach her (those being Faystone dyeing, Highbeast creation, Music, compression) she was already practically a master at or already training, and the ones that he couldn't teach her (the only one being Shtape fundamentals requiring a shtape so couldn't yet be thought and Myne already saw the use of all of them (the standard ones thaught in y1 being creating a shtape, Rott (which she saw on multiple occasions), Ordenanz and the standard mixing items (which she saw when she was creating her Jureve) and without a shatpe would be a pointless waste of time. it's literally spelled out what exactly she was learning in chapter 1 of this part

I'm essentially quoting from fanbook four here mate - Ferdinand categorically doesn't care about teaching her the reasons for subtler social nuances beyond making sure to hammer in the basic structure. He taught her to perfectly answer the base expectations of her position (the 'test') because it was necessary, and went literally no further, because how much trouble could a sickly commoner girl REALLY get up to, it's far more important to get her into the academy on time, and it's not like she's going to go out of her way to upstage every top-ranked duchy in her very first week, o-or revive decade-dormant royal artifacts, or unknowingly... provoke... the ONE person she... ahhhh

problem is just as this class showed and what is directly written in the LN the questions are different for everyone so you can't study for it. This question that you screenshotted and is in the fanbook is in regards to actual socialization edjucation not the etiquette class these 2 are vastly different things just like there's a difference between the archducal training that Wilfred was getting with Sylvester and the coursework of the ADC class. the class is application of theory the thing mentioned in the screenshot question is practical application. these 2 are waaay different things in reality easily seen if you've ever done things like customer service in any way.

I think you're getting caught up on the expression 'studying for the test'? It's not a statement he was literally teaching her class by class. Either way, that's the reason: he taught her exemplary manners but not how to properly adlib when forced outside of expected circumstance.

Regrettably she doesnt learn this until much later when Wilfrieds points it out, she learned noble common sense from someone just as abnormal as she is and so she gets to be doubly abnormal.

yeah but that's not the reason why she's good in it. again he couldn't teach her for this class that's the point. the reason why she's good in class is a completely different reason why she sucks outside of it. same way why RM is very good at negotiations when it comes to the market of it but not good at promoting her products it's her area of expertise. she knows how pressure interviews work from our world that's why it was easy to pass for her. that and the fact that canonically the higher ranked duchies are held to a higher standard to pass then the lower ones are (in that specific class)
