Delia was supposed to be executed along the High Bishop Bezewanst, but Myne pleaded for her, and she was spared. Instead, she was sentenced to be returned to the orphanage, and to never be allowed to become an attendant again, meaning she will spend her whole life in the orphanage. That punishment was deemed enough, as Delia has a big fear of the orphanage (she was there when kids around her were dying due to the lack of food, and was traumatized by it).

man i really don't like that the manga skipped 1 important detail that even the anime kept in there. when discussing how printing changed the world Myne tells Ferdinand that she can't predict how it will effect things here as in this world there is a reliance on Mana (magic power) and thus the commoners are practically dependant on it and can't really rise up as easily as they did in our world.

I think it really speaks to Myne's development that when told she'll have to choose between delaying her ambition and spending more time with her family, she's choosing her family. Absolutely would not have expected her to do that, in the beginning. She's really come to view the people around her as her family.

Yes, you can theoretically steal someone else's blood and use that to activate magic tools.
