Seeing Myne/Maine's common sense clash with that of Noble children here sets a good foundation for her to change Noble society from the ground-up starting with the next generation.

Many of them live in their own bubble, much like Wilfried used to before he was made aware of Myne's circumstances. They've only been taught to think one way and are very inflexible about breaking such tradition unless there a unique incentive to do so.

By offering the mana method, she gives them a reason/excuse to make a decision for themselves and weigh the opportunity in front of them to get more personally involved in their own education and work over just passively digesting what's fed to them.

She’s already taking steps to remove factionalism. Yeah it’s just in the dorm for now but that could lead to some very different opinions when these kids grow up and replace their parents. Less outright hostility between the Leisegang and Veronica faction would be good for everyone. And as you said, this is a good excuse. While their parents won’t be happy about them working or socializing with outside factions, saying it’s to get close to Myne and her goodies, will probably be enough to satiate the parents.

• Water in many regions do look greenish (technically Water is colourless, and only reflects the colour which is dependent on the region, with Blue being the most commonly reflected colour).
• Blue colour is also commonly associated with Fire (said to burn hotter than Orange/Red Fire)
• There are many places with Red Soil because of high Iron Content, and commonly found in Asian region.
