well the melodrama was much fueled by the body-swapping to some degree, Sunao didn't make any step further towards Natsumi because she didn't know about the Swapping and thought she would find him weird. Both have gotten closer to their friends over the body swapping and also found melodrama because of the body-swapping (Raika figuring it out and assuming some weird bad scenario). At the same time Natsumi hasn't approached Sunao more romantically as she has seen him with Lemon again and having doubts about getting in the middle of a possible relationship. Lemon has been pretty free from the eye of the Melodrama hurricane, but she has learned from it, like all of Sunao's social worries he tells her about and then her seeing through his eyes something unknown to her and also getting a diferent perspective than Sunao (like the whole thing about club cliques Sunao was worried about at the beach).

I think this series is very much about both, melodrama and body swap hijinks, but it also its own pace with more relaxed scenes and chapters in the middle.

No-one thinks the three-timing story is true anymore. We still don’t really know exactly why, which will probably be exposed in the home visit. Maybe Lemon might even find out how much she hurt him with the lie from his parents.

That may be so, but was it ever established that Lemon knows that Raika knows? That's what caught me off guard. I kinda thought it was a closely guarded secret of Lemon's to everyone.
