She is not in the title in the official release though. Original is "Good luck to you, bitch". This title is just localization. A bad one at that but publisher probably chickened out.
This is such a goofy take. She's clearly still in the title, whether it's literally her name or not. That was this person's point. Don't be a pedant.

Lemon characterization is good, but the way the misunderstanding happened is written very sloppy. And its kinda bad since its the main crux of the story.
friggin this, like this arc could be really enjoyable if it wouldn't feel detached from the start of the manga.

The same (at least for me) happened with Hokkaido Gals, that moment of the confession, where she doesn't rejects him but asks him for time, but somehow he only thinks he got rejected, there wasn't fireworks or anything that would make him misunderstand, like goddammit such sloppyness to overextend the series, worst part... a lot time later (like a year) when they actual start to go out, it was as wholesome as we were expecting at the time.

When I was Sunao’s age, my best friend simply stopped talking to me. He never explained why. There was no fight. He just started ignoring me in the halls. Did he have a good reason, a bad reason, was it a misunderstanding? I’ll never know. Middle schoolers are overdramatic and act like idiots sometimes.

Lemon was in agony over the bullying and botched her breakup with Sunao. She was a literal child. And we know from her internal monologue she’s not a garbage human being at all. She’s a really good person. Could this flashback have been better or more satisfying? Sure. But my major takeaway is feeling sad for both Lemon and Sunao, not thinking “well that writing sucked.”

Not necessarily considering the HERCULEAN effort author currently putting in to make her look somewhat appealing to the readers to the point of retcons and asspulls. Also, she is the first and the cover girl as well. Shounen romcom writers are not known for their subversion skills or originality so just like how Anna is the obvious winner in makeine (no matter how some people pretend otherwise), i don't expect much different outcome here.

That's a no from me. This isn't just the backstory in isolation. It's over 50 chapters of the story and how they've handled the breakup, ghosting, trauma, and the crux of the entire story.

Thats what I thought. I've read a lot of romcom and 99% of the time the first girk shown wins. I cant even remember any romcom where the first girls does not win. And as u said the manga focuses so much on Lemon that I'd be pretty weird for her to not win

I might point you to one with the score of 9+ on MangaDex, but that would be kind of a spoiler
Botan?
That's because ppl reading here forget this character is a 15yo teenager, and they lie to themselves about not being this awkward and doing/thinking about this kind of stupid things when they were teenagers too.
doubtful, most of the critics are about the inconnection between this and the start/premise of the story, which lessens how this arc feels to the readers, the POV of Lemon here has been interesting, but it feels, specially since the author make the MC like he forced the PTSD on himself to forget her (kinda lazy writing there)
That's because they erase negative comments there, you ain't seeing the full view of people's opinion's there.
also this hahaha
