and I definitely relate, I have never been asked out or asked someone else, or on a date at all, it's all foreign. But apart from that, no one in my friend groups has gotten together while we are on the friendgroup, all the couples "joined" the group as couples, I wonder how different it is when 2 friends part of the whole group enter a relationship, must be different, right? I think the latter is what Natsumi describes over simply there being people in relationships around her.

If only it was that simple... not everyone is alright with polygamy, and I don't mean just in a social acceptance way, but as emotional inclination. Natsumi brings up the social aspect of it, saying it's how a relationship is "supposed to be" between two people, but we don't know if the author intends anything about societal expectations and norms or if there's no meaning behind it.
Wish more series actually at least explored the throuple option even if discarded, you know?

Couples form during the formation of a new friend group like planets form out of a protoplanetary disk. It's equally as messy and violent as that too, as they're often unstable.

First things first, im glad that theres some focus on natsumi, its definitely needed atp. Decent chapter too, if a bit short.
I like the considerations of the preexisting relationships when thinking about the next step even though i think the worries are unfounded, she cant possibly know that. More like thid would be neat.

For a second there i thought author was about to take the easy and cheap way out and make Natsumi aromantic or something. I'm glad that was not the case. Though this is not much better either. She needs to have a huge handicap in order to not get with Sunao instantly so this is probably it because as soon as she does anything proactive, she will win

This is the character I felt the most pain for in Toradora!. Minori loved Ryuuji but suppressed it for Taiga's sake. She was ready to accept Ryuuji but after she seeing Taiga's breakdown preemptively rejected him while not even being able to look at him. Her crying when Ryuuji and Taiga left was as much for the severing of the last possible romantic bond with Ryuuji as seeing her best friend leaving.
