First of all: artwork is absolutely sunning.

Premise is quite honest. And i thought this could be turned into anything. But then I read after word saying
this will turn in to scifi. So i have no dam clue where this might head.

Im gonna follow this with interest.

Very much reminds me of Dedede, a work the author likely assisted on. I love the art style, and am very interested in where it goes next. Purchased volume 1 on bookwalker, bc shipping to america is expensive. Looking forward to one day being able to buy in english.

The mangaka got in trouble for translating his series on Twitter so an English audience can find his work... I wouldn't blame the publishers, since Akiyama-sensei's unapproved translation probably made officially licensing the series in the future more difficult.

Still, the mangaka only had good intentions. We all want to read manga, after all. Akiyama-sensei knew this, and tried to help his series find the people who would enjoy it.

Come on, everyone, do your thing. Support this manga through word-of-mouth, send him kind messages on Twitter, buy the volume on Amazon; stuff like that. It's rare that mangaka try to reach a global audience; when that happens, we should encourage it.

Here is Akiyama-sensei's message on Twitter:
I was forced to delete the content regarding “that matter.”

I sincerely apologize to everyone who supported me.

I draw manga for a Japanese publisher. My work belongs to me. Yet I cannot freely handle my own creations.

And sometimes, even this account...

The number of overseas manga fans may not grow any further. Still, I'm glad I got to meet all of you.

I always pour my all into the manga right in front of me. Other issues are insignificant to me.

Well then, I'm off to draw a masterpiece.

Genuinely interesting premise and that last art panel might be a reference to perfect blue lol

Hoping the best for the author, knowing that he's Inio Asano assistant give me high hopes for his future 🩷
