Interesting he's getting a health file from his coworker bc idk if jp companies would get involved with healthcare directly given the black company culture (tho no one else in his job sees to have dark circles like he does)

Dang a couple cigs a day I get but one BOX a day?

At least the Doctor is straightforward with him but other than changing his lifestyle he prolly does need a prescription of vitamins

Aw, yay encouragement lol tho im surprised the host also wouldn't have a bit of issues youth aside I assume his own lifestyle isn't the healthiest either

Still waiting on a weekend date hangout of them meeting up outside the diner

Japanese labour laws mandate that companies provide annual health check-ups for regular full-time employees (Teiki Kenkou Shindan).

i guess that's good tho the 'bill it to yourself' means that he's taking care of it as opposed to like the company covering a percentage of it?

Tho i can still imagine some bs like "everyone else is fine, you should work harder/that's on you for not taking better care of yourself" if he wanted to take a week off to rest versus needing it for full on surgery

"Bill it to yourself" means the secondary examination needs to be his. They'll pay for one free, but anything further requires it to be on your own dime.

Which makes sense, if you're needing more a detailed health checkup, yeah you need to go do it independently. (Though they have health insurance through the government I believe)
