I feel like the inspiration behind the whole story was the single panel where he wants to say something but gets cut off.

That was definitely the highlight of the oneshot.

That doesn’t mean you have to treat them bad in this life. It’s just an excuse to be shitty. If snuffing then still being born human means that they weren’t that bad in the first place or on the path to improving their karma
