That "someone else [she] like[s⁠]" might be Akiba, but I kind of think that she might actually be talking about an anime character or something? 'Cause she literally just denied having feelings for him five pages before that, and the way she said it read more to me like "in denial" than "embarrassed," so I don't feel like she's going to turn around and be like "hey, guy I barely know! You know, I'm actually in love with this guy!" even if she isn't planning on telling him who it is.

Anyways, just hope that this isn't going to somehow get in the way of his resolve to do... something. Like, the context and stuff sort of suggest that it's a love confession, but has there actually been any build up to that? It sort of feels like if it is a confession, then its just come out of nowhere. Actually, it sort of feels like this whole chapter's come out of nowhere, like we're missing a few. But that definitely says "Episode 33" at the beginning and the previous chapter definitely says "Episode 32," so...

Why not tell it right then and there? They are all alone already. Gotta build some expectations, I suppose. Too bad that something important won't be anything romantic. Despite his musings here, Akiba wouldn't trust in himself and his chances in practice, unfortunately. He can barely believe his pulling off an ordinary friendship based on common interests with Shibuya. Forget about dating her. Shibuya would need to make the first move, but honestly she hasn't seemed too interested in that at all. Even the twins appearing and Ito acting so familiar with Akiba didn't really affect Shibuya much at all. She actually treats Ito purely as a compatriot, not as a rival, both of them trying to make Akiba cosplay more and more.

So, maybe Shibuya won't ever make a first move. Unless Akiba suddenly draws a line and starts to put distance between himself and her on purpose. At that point she might, perhaps, notice his importance not only as a cosplay doll but as a person, even as a guy.

Very much so... I feel like we're missing a half chapter; we just got done with the school festival only a few chapters back. We missed the group split, the planning, and location.

Shibuyas feeling where hinted very subtly, v4.c26.p4; Akira's feeling are so subtle that even he doesn't realize it too much, v4.c26.p9.
