I wonder if it's going to have anime original content, or if it's going to be a series with short episodes, because I do not think this manga has enough material for a full 1 core season

Or maybe it does, idk... idk how anime is made and I'm just talking out of my ass

It's got the perfect amount for a one cour season. For comparison- My Dress Up Darling S1 covered chapters 1-39, with minor cuts. Gimai Seikatsu covered chapters 1-23, and it took a lot of slowing down to fill out 12 episodes; holding on room interior shots, lots of pauses in between dialogue, etc.

Much higher than 40 chapters (averaging 18 pages) means you have to start cutting things, or rushing things. The lower below 40 you get, the slower you need to pace it or add filler.

Grandma is carrying their whole relationship at this point. I wonder how confused she must be after hearing they’re just supposed to be friends even though they’re sharing a futon every night.

Grandma saw through her instantly and is just (correctly) assuming they're going to end up together anyways.

Its really sweet how Shun's entire family locked in and could tell its mutual. Grandma already figured it out, she's just showing Chokki-chan a sneak peak of the future and getting her hooked on it.

Love the detail of Chokki-chan wanting to try out what grandma said and her reluctantly realizing just how much she liked it.

Please let the anime adaptation made by a good studio and not a shitty one that'll just do the most bare minimum like let's say Project No. 9. Would love the anime to look as good as Bokuyaba or at least like Kubo-san instead of looking aggressively mid like Otonari Tenshi-sama

I still don't get the vibe that Shun's knee injury was catastrophic enough to prevent him from playing soccer. With modern medicine, it needs to be a SERIOUS injury.

Until there's more information regarding which studio will be adapting it, I'm just gonna hold back my excitement.
Because, well, I didn't like how sukimega anime was done.

The anime is probably just to promote the manga so I don't think u should get ur hopes up. It's gonna be a one and done type of thing. Still I never expected for Matsuda Mai sensei to get one of her works adapted so early. You could clearly see her writing chops with Hikaru in the Light even in the linear sense, she just needed to flesh it out. I guess she got a new editor or something because this manga is done incredibly well.
If anyone wanna see Chokki-chan being serious, please read Hikaru in the Light. The MCs are extremely similliar. Both of Matsuda's sensei protagonist has the same characteristics. The naturally goofy and aloof type.

I remember it's like she was trying to do a lot of thing at the same time, but then lost track of what the original plot was.
I thought the drama and conflicts that were introduced were quite weak. IdolxIdol did it better with that very, very, similar premise and story.
I guess a more simple, no-drama, short arc story like this is more up to her alley
