Thank you for the translation!

Even if you do not have the complete address, the postcard will arrive. If you have the apartment complex, the door and the name, you are gold! And a partial address that still finds her, must be romantic, yes? :)

Unfortunate that good advice came from a friend who got into a relationship planning to break up a couple months in.

What hurts is knowing that, since it’s a bi-weekly manga, we’ll only get about 10 more chapters this year. In the meantime, what might happen is that they both finally realize their feelings and call it LOVE, and then start acting shy and awkward around each other. Or one of them might take the initiative and confess (probably Shun).

Kind of sad to see so many comments that just don't get romance at all smh
Everyone gets it, we mostly understand her thought processes too, but it's just a fact that the time limit is quickly approaching. It's one thing when they meet every day at and after school, but as this trip shows, it's impossible to maintain the relationship once they aren't literally side by side. He can't even send her pictures. Soon exams and graduation will come and then what? Chokki is very childish in her thought process and is supremely lucky that Shun lets her do whatever she wants even being physically with his body without saying anything, especially since Shun is honestly above her league.

I'm not at all worried that they won't get together- seems like a foregone conclusion at this point, and we have her graduation as a definitive deadline too.

My main worry is that the series ends right as they get together, instead of showing us several more volumes of their life as a couple figuring out how to stay in touch with her in college and him in high school ala Pseudo Harem.

There is some real tension in the "will they, won't they" dynamic - much more than other manga.

I can really see (and not call it) unexpected if Shun and Chokki don't end up together. There's a romance in missed opportunities. Reminds me to some degree of La La Land, in that bitter sweet feeling.

That said, I heavily disagree with her friend. I just had a visit with a friend from college (he lives on east coast, me on west coast). The reason: our girls became pen pals. I think being in the same mental space is more valuable than being in the same physical space. I was a decade away from home, and my high school friends flew to the east coast to visit me for college and grad school. But that is having great friends: they work to keep things together. My wife and I met at a coffee shop, where she was on a short trip - she went back home and we sent postcards to communicate for 6 months. So the message is that effort and communication, not just phyical location, is key. I do feel that with these two, effort or location should not be the limiting factor, where they are in life will be.

I hadn't read the Manga in 6 months, so I binged chapters from 49 to 60, I ponder about writing this here or in the main thread......

The chapters were very good, but I feel the story soured me on a major point. The author making them obtuse and outright stupid, it broke the mistery their romance had.

In the first 40 or so chapters, it felt like they weren't voicing their thoughts and getting comfortable together, something very rare in JP romcoms, it felt like I had found an author who was using "show, don't tell", but no, they are simply too dumb to understand romance unlike every other peer surrounding them, young and old.

In page 15 she calls this rule of not exchanging contacts "romantic"....how? They are studying hard for the exams and then fail to see what's right in front of them, that is so sad, like people who are good at studying and learning lots of facts but can't use critical thinking.
You can say that they are just young, but again, the author wasted a great chance to have a romance where we don't need characters to always say what's on their mind and again, how come their peers can see what's going on, it means they should be able to tell as well.

I rated this 9 an I fear it will go the route of ending at the confession+timeskip, might end up being an 8, still great but, I am not sure I would re-read it with the same pleasure, even now there is this thing on the back of my mind, as I was reading the chapters, it makes their romance awkward to read.

It's so weird her friend is so chill over breaking up with her boyfriend in uni. Like, they dated for 3 months and she already doesn't give a fuck?
That's just how school romance can be, man.

I had a crush that I kept in contact with since preschool, but since she kept changing numbers during middle school (this is the mid-2000s, the only SNS we had was Facebook, which I rarely used ever since they no longer had games), and I went to a different high school and university.
We just naturally drifted apart, some times people have their own lives to take care of.

Me personally, I can think about romance once I'm in a more stable income.

That girl is fickle as fuck. If she's already feeling like that she should break up with him and let him find someone who actually cares about him.

Is she gonna break up with her college bf because they didn't get into the same workplace too? Fucking stupid line of logic.
